PT sees people for a wide range of reasons including injury prevention, neurological, post-surgical rehabilitation and more. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and diagnose dysfunction by assessing your strength, stability and range of motion to help determine the course of action needed to get you back towards reaching your goals.
Insurance card, photo ID, script (if provided by your physician), and any reports related to the reason for visit.
Comfortable clothes and shoes!
This is typically determined between you and the therapist after the initial evaluation. Some patients may only need seen once a week or every other week, whereas others may be 3 times per week depending on the diagnosis. At G3, we will work with your schedule to decide best plan for you.
Corey is a direct access provider, which means we do not necessarily need a script from your doctor to treat you. Some insurances allow you to be seen without a script. Please call the office (814-312-5270) to see if this is an option for you.
Honestly, Physical Therapy should not be painful, but may be uncomfortable at first. This general discomfort typically stems from adding new movements or exercises. By the end of your program our goal is that your pain is significantly reduced or eliminated so that you can safely return to your desired lifestyle.
This is a question as old as time! Every individual is different and multiple factors are involved in answering this question. Adherence to the program, as well as constant feedback from you will help provide better and shortened timelines. While some issues can be a quick fix, others may take time, patience and discipline.

Yes! We offer a self-pay rate for patients who do not have health insurance, or for those whose insurance does not cover Physical Therapy. Please refer to our services section to find out which service may work best for you.
