Expert care in the hands of well-trained, experienced physical therapists
Corey Gildea, DPT, ATC
Co-founder/Lead Physical Therapist
Corey Gildea is the co-founder and lead Physical Therapist at G3 Physical Therapy. He has a rich background in movement dysfunction which carries over into his therapy sessions with people of all ages. Corey also focuses heavily on movement deficiency; one area known to cause pain or, if left untreated, has the potential to cause future injuries.
Corey received his bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven University in 2008, his master’s degree from University of Kentucky (UK) in 2011, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St Augustine (USA) in 2016. While studying at these institutions, he continued to hone in on his craft of making people the best versions of themselves—from working with Division 1 Swimmers and Divers preparing for a National Championship meet at UK, to helping people walk again at USA.
One way that Corey has given back to his professional community is by becoming a published author. Corey also spent two seasons working with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and helped lead them to an NFC championship game as part of their Sports Medicine Team.
Corey has a passion for watching people succeed by giving them the confidence to believe in themselves. He also practices what he preaches and has become an avid runner after 20 years of not believing he could finish a 5k. In his spare time, Corey enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and exercising. He is co-founder of G3 Physical Therapy with his wife, Ashley, who focuses on marketing and day-to-day operations so Corey can focus on providing quality care to his patients. They have two daughters, Lucy and Winnie, who make it all worth it.
Ashley Gildea
Co-founder/Managing Partner
Ashley Gildea is the co-founder and managing partner at G3 Physical Therapy. Her focus is primarily on marketing and community involvement, as well as day-to-day operations. Most of Ashley’s work is typically done from home, but occasionally you might find her at the office as well.
Ashley received her bachelor’s degree in Marketing, along with a minor in Business Law, from Penn State University in 2011. Following graduation, she worked at Sheetz, Inc. for five years as a member of the Social Media Team in their Brand Development Department. In 2016, Ashley and Corey moved to Maryland and Ashley began pursuing her MBA in Strategic Leadership from the University of Delaware. After graduation, they moved back to their hometown of Hollidaysburg with dreams of one day opening their own physical therapy clinic.
Ashley spends most of her time at home raising their two little girls – Lucy and Winnie. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with family and close friends, reading and trips to the beach. Owning and managing a small business with Corey has been a dream of hers and they are proud to serve the community where they both grew up.
